Mister Kooky Usage Tips & Tricks
--------------------------------------------------
Thanks for downloading Mister Kooky. I hope you
find some good uses for it. I've been sketching
and painting this font for about 5 years and
finally decided it was time to make it a font.
If you use Mister Kooky in a project, please
send it to me so I can post it on the Letterhead
Fonts website. This font is free and you are
encouraged to give it to friends and colleagues.
Here are some things I've noticed while using
Mister Kooky. I thought I'd pass them along to
you:

1) Kern, kern, kern. The nature of Mister Kooky
with it's uneven letters requires a good eye for
spacing. You should kern Mister Kooky tight for
best results.

2) You'll notice that using all uppercase, as opposed
to upper and lower, gives the message an entirely
different personality. It depends on the "feel"
you want to convey. Experiment with both and see
which fits the mood better.

3) Mister Kooky looks good stretched and condensed.
I created the regular version first, but then noticed
how well it looked when it was squashed, so I've
included a condensed version also. Not really a big
deal, all I did was squeeze it, but it might remind
you that it can be used that way too.

4) Mister Kooky teeters on that fine line between
madness and hilarity and should be used accordingly.
I wouldn't recommend it for a funeral home logo, but
might be perfect for a party or a child-like theme.

5) Miter your outlines. With all the sharp serifs, you
are going to get some mighty long "shooters" when you
outline Mister Kooky. That can look pretty ugly, so
it's best to chop those things or round them off.

6) Mister Kooky's favorite colors are Lime Green
and Orange.

Follow these helpful tips, or don't. Make up
your own rules. Explore, experiment and have fun!
